Shanghai, The city of China.
Trip to Shanghai was not just a sightseeing tour for me.
I really needed to take some rest and refresh my mind.
Yes, I satisfied enough and more.

Shaghai was a big metro city than I expected.
You may hard to find traditional chinese things here.
However, It is still one of the most attractive city in the world.
And I'd rather say, it is a orginal Shanghai style.

Honestly, I don't think I would live in Shanghai.
But, I can say I would visit here some other day.

I would never forget yellow light of the Bund.
Everything are in my mind.

Yuyuan Garden : 豫园 : 예원 in Shanghai

The garden was first established in 1559 as a private garden created by Pan Yunduan, who spent almost 20 years building a garden to please his father Pan En, a high-ranking official in the Ming Dynasty, during his father's old age. Over the years, the gardens fell into disrepair until about 1760 when bought by merchants, before suffering extensive damage in the 19th century. In 1842, during the Opium Wars, the British army occupied the Town God Temple for five days. During the Taiping Rebellion the gardens were occupied by imperial troops, and damaged again by the Japanese in 1942. They were repaired by the Shanghai government from 1956-1961, opened to the public in 1961, and declared a national monument in 1982.   from wikipedia

Harmonious chinese family. They seem to be happy.

Yuyuan was quite a big garden than I expected.
It was separated with many different areas delicately. And each area made me feel cosy.

In this garden, you can feel fresh energy as much as old chinese tradition spirit.

Hang out the laundry in Shanghai : 상하이 빨래건조

When I first saw this sight, It was little strange thing.
Because, I have hardly seen like this before in Korea.
In Korea, they usually dry their laundry in house or veranda in apartment.
They reluctant to hang out their clothes that everyone easy to see; maybe air pollution problem too.
I'm not sure that Shanghai has a clean air or not. Anyway, in Shanghai, you can see laundry everywhere. Even I saw it was hung at rooftop of department store. And sometimes it seemed to dangerous, can you see a T-shirt hanging on electric power line pole(Left picture)?

상해뿐만 아니라 이탈리아나, 일본에서도 어렵지 않게 볼 수 있지. 반면 영국은 비가 언제 올지 몰라서 밖에 건조하는 사람이 거의 없고..ㅎㅎ
