Epilogue... Shanghai
Trip to Shanghai was not just a sightseeing tour for me.
I really needed to take some rest and refresh my mind.
Yes, I satisfied enough and more.
Shaghai was a big metro city than I expected.
You may hard to find traditional chinese things here.
However, It is still one of the most attractive city in the world.
And I'd rather say, it is a orginal Shanghai style.
Honestly, I don't think I would live in Shanghai.
But, I can say I would visit here some other day.
I would never forget yellow light of the Bund.
Everything are in my mind.
Two-wheeled vehicles in Shanghai
variety shapes, variety use.
in the ferry.
As you know, two-wheeled vehicles are very popular in China.
You can find many dfferent modified bikes for different purposes everywhere in Shanghai.
Binjiang Dadao : 滨江大道 : 빈장다다오, 상하이
I needed some time for rest.
And I got a chance to have a nice chat with friend.Binjiang Dado is popular street in Shanghai.
There were enough benchs... good view of course.
And you can smell Huangpu River...
I loved it!People.
There were many chinese people but it was hard to find foreigners. It seemed debris of Dock facility.
In my opinion, night scenery of The bund is more romantic than that of Pudong.
Fabulous!
Yuyuan Garden : 豫园 : 예원 in Shanghai
The garden was first established in 1559 as a private garden created by Pan Yunduan, who spent almost 20 years building a garden to please his father Pan En, a high-ranking official in the Ming Dynasty, during his father's old age. Over the years, the gardens fell into disrepair until about 1760 when bought by merchants, before suffering extensive damage in the 19th century. In 1842, during the Opium Wars, the British army occupied the Town God Temple for five days. During the Taiping Rebellion the gardens were occupied by imperial troops, and damaged again by the Japanese in 1942. They were repaired by the Shanghai government from 1956-1961, opened to the public in 1961, and declared a national monument in 1982. from wikipedia
Chinese style Lamp. There were many characteristic small gates as many as separated areas.I loved that wall.
When I touched, It was cold but it made me calm.I could feel green vitality at the old traditional garden.
Old and green. Breath of moss.On the floor..
I can't forget the feelings on my fingers.
They are still fighting against a dragon since Ming Dynasty.
Antique and simple.
Only I and tree in this room. I thought even I could talk to leaves.Harmonious chinese family. They seem to be happy.
Yuyuan was quite a big garden than I expected.
It was separated with many different areas delicately. And each area made me feel cosy.
In this garden, you can feel fresh energy as much as old chinese tradition spirit.
Hang out the laundry in Shanghai : 상하이 빨래건조
When I first saw this sight, It was little strange thing.
Because, I have hardly seen like this before in Korea.
In Korea, they usually dry their laundry in house or veranda in apartment.
They reluctant to hang out their clothes that everyone easy to see; maybe air pollution problem too.
I'm not sure that Shanghai has a clean air or not. Anyway, in Shanghai, you can see laundry everywhere. Even I saw it was hung at rooftop of department store. And sometimes it seemed to dangerous, can you see a T-shirt hanging on electric power line pole(Left picture)?
Beautiful sunny sky in Shanghai : 상하이의 둘째날
Sunny day.
I always hope to take for a walk at somewhere like this.
I visited 東方明珠(Oriental Pearl TV Tower)
Honestly, it was not that fascinating as I expected. Anyway, this tower is symbolic structure of Shanghai.
Here is SWFC(Shanghai World Financial Center) which is one of the highest building in the world.
Sunset was so beautiful.
I spent about 2 hours at this observation deck.
Sometimes just seating and having a time... sentimental relax.
We need to, truly.
And there were so many people. 22 millions... wow
First step on Shanghai, China : 상하이 첫날
It's so clean and convenient.
However MAGLEV in Shanghai is much faster.
Finally, I'm on Shanghai. It was my first visit.
The Bund.
I loved that light and color.
Pudong, across the river.
